Kellie Martin, she is an American actress and film director popularly known for her roles for her role as Christy Huddleston on the period drama "Christy", Rebecca Thatcher on the show about family Life Goes On> and Lucy Knight for the medical drama ER. Kellie Martin is most famous for her performance as the main character on the Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Martin was the daughter of a department store seller and a kindergarten teacher began her career in acting when she was seven, when her aunt who worked as the nanny of actor Michael Landon's children helped Martin get a part in the 1982 series "Father Murphy". When she graduated at Yale University she began to take acting seriously and landed roles on the small and large screen. Apart from being an actor, Martin is also a talented photographer as well as a dancer. Her sister, who died from Lupus aged 19 was the inspiration behind her becoming the Lupus national spokesperson.
