Sadie Amara Calvano has become well-known for her character Violet Plunkett that she played in the CBS comedy Mom. Calvano is originally from California and first became attracted to gymnastics. Then, she made the decision to follow a career of acting. On CBS's show "NCIS" the actress made her debut in 2010. Her big screen debut came within a year in the biographical drama "J Edgar". She was one of the top young actors to be seen over the next few decades. In the 'NCIS' series, her performance has been nominated by the Young Artist Award 2011 for the best performance of a television Series with a guest Actress between 11-15 years old. Her role as a special guest on the comedy series 'Kickin The 'It'' received her nomination yet again for an award called a Young Artist Award. Calvano was featured in a variety in the episodes "Mom" during its 4th season. She was the primary actor in the early three seasons of the show. In 2015, her performance in the show "Mom" brought her an award called the Gracie Allen Award as Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star.
